The David Oakey Propaq
Monitor Appeal
Our plans .....
We aim to buy a Propaq Monitor in memory of David. As a loving
kind caring child who would help any one he could it seems to
be a lasting tribute to leave the monitor at Skegness Cottage
Hospital
who tried so hard to save him and are desperate to have
another one. We have plans to do many things, sponsored
slimming, car boots, raffles and tombolas and as I make
hand crafted cards,
all the proceeds from the cards go to David's fund.
What we would also ask is that anyone who reads this and could
help in any way to get in touch with us, maybe ideas or
organising a fund raising event or make a donation weather it
is monies or goods that could be used in our fundraising would
be a help. Another way of helping could be by a company who
maybe could do a sponsorship so if a company you work for and
you think could help don’t hesitate to get in touch.
We hope to get the Propaq Monitor as soon as we can so that
it can be out there helping save lives. Again any help is
gratefully welcome no matter how small or big. We that is
David's parents (mum and dad) have also tried to overcome this
tragic accident by also going out to learn first aid even more
and by joining a voluntary group called Ambulance Aid. Now we
are Ambulance technicians we
can help others do all
kinds of duties and knowing David loved to help people we feel
he would be behind us all the way in both the Propaq Monitor
and ambulance work
If you would like any more details on how to contact us, then

As parents if you have the time I ask you to read what I call
my letter to David which I (his mum) wrote his after we lost
him my thoughts and feelings and why getting this monitor
means so much.
